As a leading science, technology and innovation community located in the heart of Science Vale, Milton Park is committed to sustainable development, increasing biodiversity and creating lasting social impact.

Sponsorship of 100 TOGETHER aligns with the recent adoption of the revised Local Development Order (LDO) which allows Milton Park to fast-track planning approvals to just ten days, is the UK’s first data-driven, green-focused planning agreement which will support the park's sustainable growth and 2040 vision.

Many of Milton Park’s occupiers are focused on a greener future. Tokamak Energy based at Milton Park is developing compact spherical tokamaks and high-temperature superconducting magnets to achieve commercial fusion power by the 2030s. Climate tech company, We are Nium has been nominated for the Earth Shot Prize for their use of nanotechnology to decarbonise the ammonia supply chain. Another occupier Nexeon develops silicon-based anode materials for lithium-ion batteries to enhance energy density, charging speed, and battery life.
